Constitution Day
In honor of the 218th anniversary of the adoption of the United States Constitution at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Constitution Day has been proclaimed a National celebration, to be taught by all schools that receive Federal monies. The fifth grade class presented a play, The Constitutional Convention written by Brenda B. Covert along with songs, Yankee Doodle Dandy, America (My Country ‘Tis of Thee, and the pledge of allegiance to the kindergarten through 4th grade.
