Two Waitsburg Math Team members comprised of fourth (  a minimum of three on a team) and fifth grade students competed in the Walla Walla Valley Math Contest on Saturday, March 26, 2002. at Berney Elementary School. Members were scored within their teams and then overall for all teams competing.

Our Waitsburg students practiced after school with Marne Henderson and Pam Conover as coaches.  Parents also helped score and proctor tests.   Volunteers were Cindy Downing, Perry and Darleen Dozier and Michaelle Huxoll.
