Friday, Dec. 13, 2019 at approximately 8:10 a.m. a small caliber bullet was found in the hallway of the elementary school. By coincidence, a State Patrol Trooper was near the school and came directly over to assess the situation.  It was determined that both students and staff were safe and in no danger.  State Patrol Trooper Dennison took the opportunity to visit with our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students in each classroom regarding safety and the potential hazards of bullets.  He gave out stickers to students and spent time developing positive relationships between our local law enforcement and students.  A huge thank you to our alert staff for finding the bullet and our local law enforcement for taking the time to use this incident as a learning opportunity for our students.
