On Thursday, June 11, the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) released Reopening Washington Schools 2020: District Planning Guide. The guidance focuses on students returning to school in the fall with enhanced protocols for hygiene, sanitation and physical distancing. We will be working closely with our county health officials to ensure a safe return for students and staff.
Waitsburg School District is working to develop a reopening plan focused on implementing the required health and hygiene practices. While we still have many details to work on, we invite parents/guardians to provide some initial feedback via a short survey. Further communication and surveys will occur throughout to guide us and provide information in our planning.
If you have multiple students enrolled in Waitsburg schools, please submit one survey per student, as your responses my differ depending on the grade level and situation.
The deadline to complete the survey is 4 pm on Wednesday, June 17.
