Waitsburg Primary School (PreK-6th): This school year, the district will serve meals each school day at no charge for students in Preschool through 6th grades thanks to Washington House Bill 1238: Meals for Washington Students. However, it is important that you still complete and return the Child Nutrition Eligibility & Education Benefit (CNEEB) application sent home with your student(s). This application may qualify you for: Summer EBT benefits, reduced fees for other programs and activities, and/or help secure funding for our school district. We kindly request that all families complete the form regardless of where you fall on the included income bracket.
Waitsburg Secondary School (7th-12th): This school year, the district will serve meals each school day at no charge for students in 7th through 12th grades thanks to a vote by the Waitsburg School Board of Directors to cover the costs. However, it is important that you still complete and return the Child Nutrition Eligibility & Education Benefit (CNEEB) application sent home with your student(s). This application may qualify you for: Summer EBT benefits, reduced fees for other programs and activities, and/or help secure funding for our school district. We kindly request that all families complete the form regardless of where you fall on the included income bracket.
The district is currently working on applying for future funding, which is why it is crucial ALL families return the CNEEB as soon as possible. If the district is unable to secure funding for the coming years, students who do not qualify for free and reduced-price meals will be required to pay for their meals. Please help us secure funding for our meal programs AND other district programs by completing and returning the CNEEB.
Completed forms can be returned to the office at the Primary or Secondary school, your child's teacher, or mailed to PO Box 217, Waitsburg, WA 99361.
