Waitsburg School District is hosting a second COVID-19 vaccination clinic on Thursday, June 10th from 2:30-4:00 PM. The June 10th vaccination clinic is open to any interested Waitsburg School District students ages 12 and older, as well as any Waitsburg community member wishing to receive the vaccine. The vaccine clinic will take place on the Waitsburg school campus (exact location currently TBD).
The COVID-19 vaccine is optional and is not required for students. Those interested in receiving the vaccine should note the following:
- Walk-in’s are welcome. Students do not need to sign-up in order to receive the vaccine.
- Parent consent is required for students under age 18.
- A parent must accompany their student at the vaccination clinic.
- Participants will be required to wait on-site least 15 to 30 minutes after the vaccination to monitor for any adverse reactions.
- WWHD will have medical providers and a pharmacist onsite to answer any questions.
- WWHD will be offering both the Pfizer and the Johnson & Johnson vaccines at the clinic.
