To Our Waitsburg Parents and Community Members:
I am extremely grateful to announce that Waitsburg School District’s replacement levy is currently passing at a combined rate of 59.93% as of February 8 at 8:12 PM. The preliminary results from the county elections offices have been counted, and final numbers will be officially certified on February 18. The Educational Programs and Operations Levy is a two-year renewal of the district’s expiring levy that voters also supported in 2020. (Not a new tax.) Like school districts across Washington, Waitsburg relies on levy funds to maintain staffing and school programs.
