Waitsburg Parents & Guardians:
Your help is needed! Our district participates in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Program called Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). This means that all students attending Waitsburg schools are eligible to receive breakfast and lunch at no charge, regardless of family/household income. As part of the CEP requirements, Waitsburg school District needs to collect household information for all students through the Family Income Survey.
Why Do We Need You to Complete the Survey?
The information you provide by returning the Family Income Survey ensures that all Waitsburg schools are eligible to receive funding from Washington state for many other school programs, including Title I, LAP, e-Rate (technology), and more. All CEP schools in Washington are required to collect the Family Income Survey each school year.
Please complete and return the Family Income Survey HERE by Friday, March 24th
- Only one survey per household needs to be completed, even if you have multiple students attending Waitsburg schools.
- Even if you do not qualify, we still need you to complete and return the survey. Just fill out the survey and check the box “Household does not qualify.”
- There are many ways to return the survey:
- Drop it off at your child’s school office.
- Send it with your child to give to his/her teacher.
